Wings on the Water

We are so grateful for all the volunteers from THERAsurf and Hidden Wings. Wings on the Water was amazing!

We’d like to say a special thank you to our sponsors: Platinum Performance, el Rancho Market, Solvang Bakery and Birkholm’s Bakery, as well as the California State Lifeguards and THERAsurf! Photographs by Amy May Images

The participants had a blast! We heard “this is the best day of my life” from one individual and “just one more wave!” from another. We look forward to more beautiful days on the water in the Spring!

Gabriel House

In October, two of our outstanding teachers, Tina Kalkowski and Jenn Sgobba, had the opportunity to go down to Ensenada, Mexico to visit Gabriel House and deliver a donation of drums and other musical instruments. Gabriel House is an orphanage for children and young adults with special needs. This is our first long-term partnership but hopefully the first of many to come. To no one’s surprise, it begins with rhythm and two outstanding teachers.
